Low-volatility coins: the five calmest of the fifteen largest
From the largest coins pick the ones whose price moves least, and hold them only while the market is rising.
The rule
Measure the daily swings of each large coin over the last 60 days. Hold the five calmest in equal parts. Review once a month.
Why people use it
The wildest coins attract the most speculation and tend to crash hardest. Calm coins are usually the large, established ones, and they lose less when the market turns.
Where it hurts
Calm coins miss the biggest rallies, which are made by the wild ones. Calm in crypto is relative: these coins can still halve.
How our bot runs it
The bots choose from the fifteen largest coins by trading volume, one with bitcoin in the list and one with altcoins only. The five with the lowest 60-day volatility get 20% each, reviewed monthly. If the market filter is negative, the account is in cash.
